Principal Road Safety Engineer in Scotland

Principal Road Safety Engineer - Scotland - Permanent -
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Advanced Resource Managers are currently recruiting for a global company who work on major projects throughout the UK. They are currently looking for a Principal Road Safety Engineer to join their team based in Scotland.

About You:
- You are an experienced road safety audit team leader in accordance with GG119.
- You are ICE, CIHT charted or working towards chartership.
- You have previously worked with local authorities, developers, or major contractors.
- It would be beneficial if you have got knowledge of safety risks in accordance of GG 104.

What you will be doing:
You will be providing safety leadership to highways and active travel design teams in accordance of road user safety. You will also oversee the strategy and governance of designs, developing/reviewing technical notes and supporting with the Design Strategy Record, safety risk assessments and maintenance strategies. You will also be managing projects and leading technical advisories on the preparation of technical content for feasibility, preliminary and detailed design for the transportation infrastructure schemes.

This role is based in Scotland it is a full-time hybrid role. Office attendance will be 2-3 times a week

The salary for this role is between £40,732 - £67,886. The benefits package includes a 25-day holiday allowance with the option to buy up to 5 days, life insurance, private health care and a pension plan.
