Principal Active Travel Engineer in Glasgow

PRINCIPAL ACTIVE TRAVEL ENGINEER - GLASGOW OR EDINBURGH - PERMANENT - £55,000 - £65,000 PER ANNUM

Advanced Resource Managers are currently recruiting for a global company who work on varied transportation and construction projects. They are currently recruiting for a Principal Active Travel Engineer to join their Glasgow or Edinburgh team.

About You:
* You will have design experience integrating walking, cycling, green infrastructure, public transport, and traffic solutions into urban environment.
* You will have experience and strong understanding of the application of technical guidance and standards.
* You will be supporting the execution and quality assurance of multi-disciplinary projects.
* You will be able to maintain client and internal relationships.

What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for leading the design teams responsible for delivering active travel designs, including producing 3D models, drawings, and specifications to relevant standards. You will also be designing active travel from concept through to detailed design, whilst meeting programme and budget targets.

The role is based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, with a flexible working style.

The salary for this position is between £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and suitability. On top of this the company are offering a benefit package including: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, private medical, company pension scheme, life assurance, + more.
