Mechanical Facility Engineer in Berkshire

Advanced Resource Managers are currently working with a nuclear research and development company who are seeking a Mechanical Facility Engineer to join their team.

About You:

You will have SC clearance (preferably DV cleared)
You will have knowledge of Plant and Engineered Systems
You will have experience within a leadership role
You will have knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
You will have Project Management experience
You will have experience with Hazard Identification and Risk Control

What you will be doing:

Apply domain and technical knowledge for design intent, as-built standards, and system performance through life for engineered systems and structures.
Interpret and deliver the requirements of issued tasks from the Asset Engineering Solutions order book (including troubleshooting, quoting, reporting, design, commissioning, and handover as required), and make evidence based professional engineering decisions to solve technical problems within area of responsibility.
Identify and escalate business risk arising from condition of engineered systems and structures.
Demonstrate adherence to management system requirements and relevant technical standards.
Engage with company delivery and administrative requirements; report own and team progress honestly and clearly, communicate in an engaging manner, support performance management.
Optimise the delivery of Operations Engineering.

This position is based within Berkshire, Hampshire, where you will be required on site regularly (opportunities to work from home may arise, not guaranteed

Depending on individuals experience this role is paying up to £61.00 per hour, inside IR35. You will get the decision to either PAYE or Umbrella.
