Press And Media Officer in Worthing, West Sussex

PRESS AND MEDIA OFFICER - WORTHING - FIXED TERM CONTRACT - UP TO £40,000 PER ANNUM

We are currently looking for a Press and Media Officer for a private utility company for a Fixed Term Contract based in Worthing.

About You:
* You will be understanding the media landscape, including regional and trade press.
* You will be confident in engaging with journalists and media outlets reactively and proactively.
* You will have experience building campaigns that secure positive coverage.

What you will be doing:
You will be developing and placing content that tells our story across all types of media, create media campaigns that protect our reputation and be frontline in a busy press office environment, establishing facts and getting to the heart of an issue.

This role is based in Worthing, working 5 days a week during normal office hours. This role is hybrid working style.

The rate of pay for this role is £35,000 to £40,000, this is based on experience and suitability. Maternity cover starting in March.

For our client, we are required to undertake a DBS and reference checks prior to starting. We also can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
