All this is supported by a delivery culture driven by results. You will be responsible for influencing and shaping solutions during pre-sales engagements. To take advantage of this opportunity you will need to be a highly technical individual with also solid hands-on experience in delivering Network Automation solutions within Telco environments. Whilst the predominant focus of the role is presales, it is expected that the successful individual will also provide quality assurance in key customer projects during their delivery stage.

Job Requirements:
* Experience in the Telco Network Automation domain as a lead Solutions architect, in a Communication Service Provider, and a Consultancy or software/equipment provider.
* Evidence of championing or leading on innovation.
* Good understanding of how DevOps is applied to Telco Network Infrastructure (e.g. IaC paradigm).
* Solution Design expertise delivering large-scale Infrastructure Transformation projects.
o Technically leading complex projects throughout the complete Software Solutions Development and Delivery lifecycle.
* Strong knowledge of network and communication technologies i.e. 2/3/4/5G, SDN, NFV, IP/MPLS, Ethernet.
* Good understanding and a willingness to dive deeper on key network automation languages and protocols, such as Python, YANG (also in the context of OpenConfig), JSON, YAML, JS, Ansible, NETCONF, RESTCONF, REST APIs etc.
* Expert knowledge of virtualization (IaaS, CaaS) associated with the telco domain, e.g. OpenStack, VMware, Wind River, Kubernetes (K8S), Red Hat OpenShift.
* Familiarity with ETSI MANO standards including SOL001, SOL004, SOL006 and fluency across ONAP, OSM and other industry orchestration frameworks.
* Good knowledge of Lifecycle Management (LCM) Operations (Day 0,1,2) for Infrastructure, Telco-supporting Network Functions & Network Services.
* Familiarity with GitOps approach for Cloud Native Network Functions LCM.
* Good knowledge of CI/CD/CT associated toolchains (e.g. Jenkins, Rundeck, GitLab, GitHub, Jira, Harbor, Terraform, Helm, Flux, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, ELK stack, Robot Framework, Spirent).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills - and be able to communicate effectively with Senior Management, Business Users and Technical staff, both internally and externally (customers, technology partners).
* Strong Network Automation Service Offerings Solution Design collateral / documentation skills.
* Leading on the technology solution for RFx / bid responses delivering high quality collateral with minimal supervision.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of emerging technology, industry and market trends.
