Planning Officer in Warwickshire

PLANNING OFFICER - WARWICKSHIRE - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT - £56.00 PER HOUR

Arm are currently working with a well know local authority, who are recruiting for an experienced Planning Officer based in Warwickshire.

About You:
* You will need experience in a Local Government or other public organisation.
* You will need experience of strategic planning, strategy development, policy research and policy formulation.
* You will need to hold a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
* Knowledge and effective application of planning legislation and guidance

What you will be doing:
* Assist with meetings with agencies and stakeholders that need to be involved in the planning process.
* Assist with talks and briefings to internal and external groups on the preparation and progress of Planning policy documents.
* Assist with the supervision of work experience placements, students and if required technicians.
* Prepare and undertake public consultation exercises related to Planning Policy documents and other planning issues in the local area, this will include leading groups and giving presentations.

This role will be office based with Offices are based in Warwickshire.

The rate for this role is £56.00 Per Hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35.

This role is a 6-month contract basis
