On-Track Machine Engineer (Rail) in Birmingham, West Midlands

ON-TRACK MACHINE ENGINEER (RAIL) - WEST MIDLANDS - PERMANENT - £40,750 - £61,140

ARM are working with a leading railway company and we are currently recruiting for an OTM Engineer to join their team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

About You:
* Your experience will include railway and rolling stock, and ideally with On-Track Machines.
* Your experience could include significant experience as a fitter on rolling stock or on OTM Machines.

What you will be doing:
This position will see you helping the design, purchasing and future planning use of brand new OTM's. These OTM's will be deployed in an unique way on the UK's railway and this position offers a chance for new learnings and helping develop OTM's for future use globally.

This position is to be based in Birmingham with hybrid working. 2 days a week in the office and 3 from home. The position may require some travel to see suppliers outside of the UK in the future also.

What you can expect in return:
The salary for this position is between £40,750 and £61,140 and will be dependent on experience and suitability for the role. On top of this is an excellent range of benefits and the ability to purchase more, should you want too. This position offer training to best serve the role that will include writing requirements, procurement and working with manufacturers to develop new machinery.
