A leading boat builder is recruiting a Naval Architect to join their office in Northampton to produce detailed production drawings and documentation to support the build whilst reviewing key load case/performance data
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Working with the design team on a variety of structural designs and engineering systems.
- Supporting the development and design of major component structural design.
- Liaising and collaborating with the companies external Naval Architecture partner.
- Writing reports and documentation.
The successful candidate will;
- Have experience/and appropriate education in Naval Architecture.
- Experience with composites is seen as an advantage.
- 3D CAD experience is crucial.
- A high level of commercial acumen.
- Motor yachting experience is preferred.
