Working on cutting-edge technology and capabilities, you'll be updating existing hardware, selecting components, and supporting testing and implementation within an important National Defence Submarine Programme.
With continual expansion and success of our Hardware Engineering team, this role is for a creative and innovative Hardware Engineer who is design orientated with CAD capabilities.

Your Responsibilities:
Electrical design engineering for existing and new control systems for Naval applications
Create, modify, maintain and manage electrical designs for power systems
Component selection and system implementation
Analyse and justify electrical based designs and component selection
Create, modify and maintain technical documentation to support contractual deliverables
Your Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar level of experience
Understanding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems
Ability to install, commission and test electrical based components
Ability to create, modify and maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (desirable)
Ability to analyse hardware components for suitable form/fit/function
