If you are Action Orientated engineer with experience with RTOS, good at building Peer Relations and have the drive to build results in the position of leading a team then you could be just the person for this role.
The role:
To be the technical team lead for the Firmware Development Team- to support the product range.
Role is part of the UK Development team based outside Basingstoke. You will be involved in the design and development of the platform firmware used in the product range.
You will support firmware Project Management development tracking and status as part of the Agile development process. This involves working with team leads to create development tasks; assignment to team members and progress tracking.
You will be given responsibility and will start working on live projects, where you will apply your existing knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the Firmware Team
* Maintain the focus and direction of the team's activities
* Provide technical guidance to the team
* Lead the daily Scrum meetings
* Be the primary interface between the scrum team and stakeholders
The successful candidate will be responsible for full life cycle development on the product range, including:
* Requirement analysis
* Design
* Development
* Maintenance
* Continuous integration
* Configuration management
* Peer code inspection
* Task creation and tracking
* Team Mentoring and recruitment
* Lead programmes and features within defined timescales, budget and content
You will develop and maintain firmware platform components shared across the whole family of products including RTOS, Drivers, Encryption engines, Communication Stacks and Metering Engines.
