Finance Business Partner in London

Finance Business Partner - London (Hybrid) - 3 month Contract - £39.00 per hour
ARM are delighted to be hiring for a Finance Business Partner to join one of our clients based in London on a contract basis.

To ensure that proper financial controls and monitoring arrangements are maintained.
Requirements
* Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or training for a CCAB body and/or other equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience at this level
* Experience of providing advice and support on the full financial cycle
* Experience of using a range of software applications and packages
* Experience of developing, implementing and maintaining financial management systems.
* Ability to manage staff including motivating, training and developing them.
* Awareness of current local government accounting practice

Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain robust financial management systems to record and report on funds received from external sources including liaising with departmental heads as necessary.
* Assist with the maintenance of financial records kept by individual externally funded projects.
* Ensure that all expenditure is properly accounted for
* Assist the Line Manager and departmental heads in the preparation and progression of budgetary bids
* Prepare regular accounts and monitoring reports
* Maintain financial databases and spreadsheets
* Prepare and coordinate the monitoring of expenditure against budgets, liaise with budget holders as necessary and provide input in financial monitoring returns.
* Lead the preparation of the Departments closing and end of year accounts.
* Support the financial management, reporting and provision of pension schemes.
