Field Service Engineer – Permanent – Germany in Hamburg (22113), Hamburg

As a Field Service Engineer, you will focus on the following duties:
* Service and Commissioning within the area of Navigation Systems, according to our client's requirements and our warranty obligations
* Being involved in the test drive, and if needed, travelling with the ship as a warranty engineer
* Presenting and handing in the equipment systems to the ship owner, the shipyard as well as the classification societies
* You will perform system checks of complex equipment or constructions in Shipbuilding projects
* You will coordinate and carry out the bringing into service as well as any needed changes
* You will carry out any repairs and installations which include any needed configuration / parameterizations and order processing

Requirements:
Preferably holding a bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area (electrical engineering) or equivalent
Multiple years of relevant work experience
Hands-on attitude with an organised way of working
Social and intercultural skills
Willingness to travel frequently worldwide
