Your new role -
The Facility Planner is responsible for the project planning, installation and optimisation of assembly and logistics equipment to agreed cost and deadline targets. This covers the feasibility, specification, supplier selection, cost, quality, ergonomics, environment, and availability of the technical solutions. The Facility Planner will work closely together with controls planner on individual project.
The role is inclusive of
* Monitoring of the project and manufacturing progress
* Detailed cost and schedule planning and monitoring of the implementation plan
* Site visits and meetings to identify potential hazards
* Set-up of preventive measures with regards to irregularities and interruptions

What you'll need to succeed -
* Relevant knowledge including machine control, automotive, robotics engineering, building services, hydraulics, pneumatics, project management, IT networks, machine operator protection and health and safety.
* Good leadership and project planning skills are required.
* Good problem resolution techniques and preventative maintenance techniques
* Must be able to communicate with internal and external international partners and have the ability to sell concepts and communicate technical solution effectively.
* Good knowledge of VPS principles.
* Good office IT skills.
