The Role:

The role will consist of supporting the fabrication or modification of components to allow engines, vehicles and batteries to be fitted to rigs for testing.
* Create complex sheet metal welded fabrications from engineering drawings.
* Modify existing parts so they can be fitted to test rigs.
* Repair components that have failed during testing.
* Provide advice and guidance to the design team on welding.
* Ensure that welding and fabrication equipment is fit for purpose and maintained correctly.
* Follow company health and safety procedures.

About you:

* Extensive welding experience with TIG, MIG
* Confident with all sheet metal tools and processes such as bending and forming complex shapes.
* Able to work with and without engineering drawings.
