Engineer – Body Structures (Automotive) in Guildford, Surrey

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Engineer- Body Structures to join our growing team based in Surrey.

Responsibilities:

• Develops increased knowledge and skills most likely within the set of responsibilities shown below
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assignments of limited complexity
• Collaboratively uses judgement to determine adaptions to standard practices

Additional Responsibilities:

• Undertakes leadership of small work packages
• Undertakes defined assignments
• Develops workflows to deliver assignments
• Prepares portions of project documentation (models, drawings, reports etc.)
• Assists on a wide variety of tasks across departments and functions as required
• Assists in determining schedules and budgets for familiar tasks
• Undertakes small and well-defined work packages
• Receives instruction of specific objectives
• Receives direction on unconventional and/or complex problems, and possible solutions
• Receives a thorough review of completed assignments for application of sound engineering judgement

Experience and Qualifications:

• Possesses effective oral and written communication skills
• Assists with customer communications associated with specific assignments
• Interacts with contractors
• 2 years + experience
• Associate member of professional practice organisation
• Involved with outreach activities focuses towards schools and education (EG. STEM)
