Electrification & Plant Engineer in Gravesend, Kent

ELECTRIFICATION & PLANT ENGINEER - GRAVESEND - 3 MONTH CONTRACT - £420 - £465pd UMBRELLA

ARM is working with a large European rail company, and we are looking for a Assistant Electrification & Plant Maintenance Engineer to join them on a 3 month contract with the potential to continue thereafter.

About You:

• You will have a good understanding of maintenance delivery and safety processes.
• A knowledge of operational railway environment is crucial.
• You should have experience and knowledge of design.
• A HNC/ HND (or equivalent) is necessary for this role.

What you will be doing:

• In this role you will be leading and assisting the technical support team to provide performance, analytical and production support for the maintenance team.
• You'll be encouraging and assisting the development of individuals and team as well as planning for safety and competence.
• Monitoring asset performance and maintaining systems and databases.
• You will also be providing requirements to arrange track monitoring trains.

This position is based in Gravesend, Kent. You can work on a hybrid basis, with at least 3 days per week in the office.

What you can expect in return:

The rate for this role is £420 - £465 per day on an umbrella rate (deemed inside IR35), on a 3-month contract with the potential to extend.
