Electrical Engineer (Nuclear) in Derby, Derbyshire

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting experienced Electrical Engineers, within multiple disciplines, to join a Leading Nuclear Engineering Defence business, based in the Derby area.

We would be interested to speak with you if you have a background in Control & Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical Control & Instrumentation, Digital Systems, Data Analytics or Electronic Systems

What you'll be doing

• You will work with key stakeholders to integrate and manage system requirements.

• You will also design, specify for manufacture, test, commission, and support both bespoke and commercial off the shelf Electrical Control and Instrumentation systems

• Prepare technical reports and documentation to a standard compatible with engineering best practice.

• Undertake project planning and control to ensure cost and schedule adherence.

  Occasional site working to work on design reviews, investigations, equipment trials

What do you need to succeed?

• Proven experience in one of the above disciplines
• A background in either Civil Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and other safety-critical industries.
• Degree Qualified or Apprentice Trained in a relevant engineering discipline, however, this is not essential as experience is equally beneficial
