Design Engineer Structures in Warwickshire

Responsibilities:
- Ownership of relevant section
- 3D package modelling
- Manage interface with styling
- Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full vehicle body systems:
- Occupant cell
- Crash management
- Sub frames
- Structural floors
- Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible components
- Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance
- Work Package Management
- Design Sizing Analysis
- Sub system loads
- Joints and interfaces
- Materials selection
- Bolt calculations
- Cost, timing and mass
Experience and Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience within the automotive sector
- Design experience, ideally within vehicle structures
