Design Engineer in Northampton, Northamptonshire

The role will sit within a team of Designers to support on ICE & Battery development Projects

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design engine components, systems and vehicle installation
• Carry out value analysis/value engineering programmes
• Design drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Design test parts for development testing

Desirable skills:

• Ability to liaise with key stakeholders; both internal and external.
• Support and guide junior members of the team
• Experience in one of the leading CAD systems used in the automotive industry.
• Experience in system or battery design.
