Design Engineer

Peterborough - £Competitive - Permanent - Hybrid

About you:

* Engineering Degree Qualifications or HND with experience
* Experience in off-highway machine design and development
* Working knowledge of CAD and PLM (CREO and Teamcenter)
* Creativity and innovation to generate new solutions to existing problems
* Understanding of design for manufacturing and design for assembly philosophies
* Control and communication of cost, quality, and schedule constraints

The Role:

* Responsible for the design and detailing of components and assemblies.
* CAD Design of components and assemblies in CREO
* Completion of component and group drawings
* Participating in Design Reviews, FMEA's
* Management of engineering changes through life cycle management
* Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
* Working with design resources and suppliers to rapidly implement design changes
