Dell PowerEdge Management Suite Specialist in London

PermanentOur client are seeking a Dell PowerEdge Management Suite Specialist to join their expanding team.
This role is hybrid in London - 2 days a week in the office.
The job duties of a Dell PowerEdge Management Suite Specialist should include:
- Installation, configuration and management of Dell iDRAC, OpenManage Enterprise, Repository Manager, Support Assist, Power Manager and associated Plug-in's
- Monitoring and managing the health and performance of Dell servers and devices
- Troubleshooting issues related to Dell servers and devices using the Dell PowerEdge Management Software Suite
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to Dell PowerEdge Management Software Suite configurations and procedures
- Collaborating with other IT teams to co-ordinate and implement changes and updates to Dell servers and devices
- Performing maintenance and performance tuning on Dell servers and devices
- Testing and implementing firmware updates and patches for Dell servers and devices
- Providing technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams.
- Keeping up to date with new features and updates of Dell PowerEdge Management Software Suite
- Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures related to role
Skills and qualifications required:
- Strong knowledge of Dell servers and devices, including hardware components and configurations
- Experience with managing Dell servers and devices using Dell PowerEdge Management Suite and associated tooling
- Understanding of Dell's TechDirect support mechanism
- Knowledge of Open Source software O.S and Management platforms - Linux, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
- Strong knowledge of infra-as-Code - Scripted Server automation/deployment/management - RACADM, Bootstrapping, RESTAPI, Python, Ansible Playbook, Terraform integration
- Knowledge of Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies - OpenStack
- Familiarity with network protocols and technologies
- Understanding of RAID configurations and storage technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Certification in Dell OpenManage or related technologies may be preferred
