Our client is currently undergoing huge projects migrating to leading technology, upgrading networks and replacing vital infrastructure for the nation's infrastructure. Helping them shape an IT, Security, analytics and project function that is fit for the future.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Data and Analytics Delivery Manager to join our growing team of Data and Analytics professionals.
The role will involve structuring initiatives and product deliveries into coherent product and programme plans, working with the D & A team, line of business stakeholders and IT colleagues to plan, manage and ultimately ensure successful delivery.
The role will report to the Head of Data and Analytics and will work closely with the rest of the team.
The Data and Analytics team exists to help the organisation make its data work for the customers, employees, community and environment by helping make the best decisions, be more efficient in delivering outcomes and driving the future of the industry through the use of AI and intelligent automation.
The Data and Analytics team delivers a wide range of services:
Enterprise Data Strategy
Business Enablement and Data Literacy
Data Products (including business intelligence, analytics, machine learning and AI) Data Platforms Enterprise Data Governance Skills and Experience
They are looking for someone with proven skills in product and programme delivery, with a track record of organising teams and initiatives to ensure regular and consistent delivery of high quality products.
Ideal experience:
Experience working in a Data and Analytics, or IT function Experience delivering in agile methods such as Scrum Experience working with senior line of business stakeholders Experience interfacing with technical colleagues to manage dependencies Experience working in a pressured and exciting environment with sometimes contending priorities
Qualities
The role will involve working with a wide range of stakeholders from C-level down, and include technical, operational and corporate stakeholders so will require good communication skills.
The role will require a highly proactive and autonomous individual able to set not only their own workloads but also lead the rest of the team in managing their deliveries and dependencies.
We also look for highly curious people in the Data and Analytics team who are motivated by solving problems together and applying rigorous analysis to challenges!
