ARM is delighted to be helping our client with the recruitment of a Contracts Solicitor on a permanent basis, offering hybrid working.

The Contracts Solicitor will provide broad and varied commercial support across the business whilst maintaining a high level of autonomy and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
* Advise on a broad range of legal matters including contracts, regulatory and compliance
* Provide sound legal advice and support to business divisions relating to corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
* Liaise with external counsel where required
* Draft a wide range of legal documents and support materials including standard contact templates for use by the business divisions
* Negotiations on a broad range of commercial contracts with counter parties and their lawyers
* Provide training to business departments such as commercial and legal considerations and regulatory changes where required
* Support legal department in a wide range of initiatives, and improvements

Requirements
* Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales with experience in the field of commercial law and commercial contracts
* Previous experience working in a commercial role and negotiating contracts
* Previous in-house experience preferable
* Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
* Strong knowledge of commercial law, and compliance
