Consultation Specialist in London

Consultation Specialist - LONDON - 9 MONTH CONTRACT - £299.99 PER DAY UMBRELLA INSIDE IR35

ARM are working with a well-known transportation client in the UK. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Consultation Specialist to join their team based in London.

About You:
- You have got a good understanding of the local government procedures and culture, and the politics of London government.
- Experience in running a consultation, including key communication and negotiation skills.
- You have got knowledge of the recent developments in transportation in the UK.
- You have got experience working with theoretical and practical knowledge of national transport provision, consents processes and relevant legislation.
- You will also ideally have a relevant degree, and a consultation institute membership

What you will be doing:
- Working on delivering consultations in roads portfolio, to look at active roads, changes to roads and relevant updates to the communities.
- Planning to deliver a consultation, speak to sponsors about the requirements, negotiating with them about the approach, when it should be launched, information provided, budgets provided.
- Writing consultation plans
- Running consultations, responding to questions, gathering data, analyse data.
- Reporting on consultation, writing a report, and the decisions and work alongside this.
- You will be working with the local communities and partnership colleagues, to make sure you are completing the set tasks as well as working with the external senior politicians, customers, local community groups, voluntary sector, and other external audiences for consultation/engagement on projects, schemes or policy changes.

This is a full-time contract role on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to be in the office Monday and Wednesday each week.

This role is for a Consultation Specialist based in London, on a rate of £299.99 per day (Umbrella/ inside IR35) on a 9 month contract.
