As the Communications Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• The design of Radio and Intermediate Frequency systems architecture, specification of system elements
• Overseeing the purchase and installation of equipment
• System Test and Commissioning
• Support for the new service design process
• Specifying, purchasing, and testing VSAT terminals

Your skillset may include:

• Experience with a satellite network operator
• Knowledge of RF and IF architecture and best design practice
• Experience in the specification and delivery of large (9m) satellite terminals
• Satellite network system design experience
• Experience in the design of military communication systems
• Knowledge of satellite ranging techniques
• Previous experience in the design of satellite systems
• Able to calculate link budgets for complex SATCOM Systems
• Experience working across the complete engineering lifecycle.
