About the Role:

The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Business

Key responsibilities include:

• Promote cooperation across teams
• Assist in managing customer and supply chain interactions
• Ensure correct application of procedures and standards
• Communicate task and project risks appropriately
• Contribute to Product Safety Assessment
• Interface with stakeholders at a detailed level
• Conduct technical investigations and analysis for problem resolution and improvement design
• Improve processes to enhance quality, cycle time, and asset utilization
• Apply engineering knowledge to produce technical solutions and documentation
• Produce, review, and verify various outputs
• Ensure proper review and approval of work
• Plan, deliver, and monitor tasks and projects
• Provide support and guidance to team members
• Support Project Manager in planning and delivering tasks and projects
• Make engineering decisions within authority
• May act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Stay updated in technical areas and promote best practices
• Contribute to learning from experience
• Support business development through presentations and identifying new opportunities
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support the tender process.

What do you need to succeed?

• Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience
• Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types
• Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks
• Communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines
