ARM are delighted to be working with our client to help them recruit a Commercial Manager on a 4 month contract.
The Role:
- Acting as the key commercial interface between Procurement & Commercial and business stakeholders.
- Managing multiple sourcing and procurement projects simultaneously.
- Running tender exercises and single-source procurements.
- Managing supplier negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms and conditions.
- Drafting contracts and supporting contract template development.
- Delivering value for money through benchmarking, cost analysis and commercial recommendations.
- Maintaining sourcing pipelines and ensuring procurement data is accurate and up to date.
- Supporting colleagues and sharing commercial best practice across the wider team.
Requirements:
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts, rates, terms and conditions.
- Ability to secure commercial value and manage spend effectively
- Ability to build strong relationships across business functions.
- Experience working autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within a public sector environment
- CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
