Commercial Manager - Romsey/Woking (Hybrid) - 3-month contract - Competitive £££ (DOE)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Commercial Manager to join them on a 3-month contract.

The role requires the Commercial Manager to provide contractual, financial and business risk management, from tendering to contract acceptance and in-service contract management.

Responsibilities:
* To provide commercial support from early business development, contract negotiation and on through the life of the contract
* Lead on drafting, negotiating, and implementing contracts, confidentiality agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracting and similar arrangements where appropriate
* Undertake commercial, financial and business risk and opportunity management during bidding and contract negotiations/management
* Capable of operating to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment
* Proactive identification of continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements:
* Educated in a Business or Legal based discipline preferably to a degree level or have equivalent industry experience
* Highly experienced in contract management
* Existing knowledge of UK Government or Ministry of Defence contracting frameworks and mechanisms would also be an advantage
* A professional qualification is highly desirable - CIPS
* Highly organised with the ability to maintain focus, manage priorities and deliver under pressure
