CNC Miller / Turner in Eastleigh, Hampshire

PermanentOur client is looking for a CNC Turner and a CNC Miller for nights shift in the Chandlers Ford area.
Ideally the perfect candidate will have experience setting & operating a CNC Milling Machine with Hiendenhain controls, CNC Turning Machine with Fanuc controls. Someone that has good time keeping and can work well with deadlines, can adapt to change and is a good team player with a fine attention to detail.
In this role you will be required to set and operate a range of CNC Machines with a good ability to read technical drawings.
Inspection of tooling and machine for defects, observe production to detect defects on or machine malfunctions helping adjust the machines when needed while recording machine breakdown.
Adhere to risk assessments, safe systems of work, standard operating procedures and environmental practices while maintaining Health & Safety norms and instructions.
The Candidate is expected to:
Be self-motivated to machine parts efficiently to a high quality in time.
Work to tight tolerances and self-inspect work through production.

Working hours are 7:00 AM - 4:30PM Monday to Thursday, 7:00AM - 2:30PM on Fridays. The pay rate is £17 - £20 per hour, based on experience.
