CNC Miller – Nights in Arundel, West Sussex

Our client is looking for a Night Shift CNC Miller, programmer, setter, operator to join their team based in West Sussex.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Programming, setting and operating Fanuc or Heidenhain CNC Machines.
* Offline programming using VISI Software.
* Selecting correct tools, fixtures and programs for CNC machines.
* Re-setting machines for operators when required.
* Reading engineering drawings and programme for CNC machines.
* Carry out inspection to drawing specification using a variety of measuring equipment e.g., micrometers.
* Management of programming updates and programming for new components.
* Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.

Ideally, you will have:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Experience manufacturing precision components.
* Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain CNC mills will be an advantage.

Please note that this is a Night Shift position, Friday, Saturday and Sunday type of role, up to 40 hours per week, though overtime may be available.
Working hours are usually 17:00 - 5:00, for which our client is willing to pay between £18 - £20 per hour (depending on experience) + a shift allowance.
