Job Title: Change Analyst

Location: UK-Exeter - Hybrid (2 days on site)

Overview:

The role of the Change Analyst is to support the implementation of new technology, functional business and organisational concepts within the Group and thereby secure the successful transformation of the ways in which the Group and its subsidiaries operate.
In particular, the Change Analyst will identify the impact of change to people, processes or systems in functions where new technology is being implemented by IT projects and programmes.
The Change Analyst will work closely with IT Project Managers in designing and implementing plans which successfully effect and embed the change for maximum benefit.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

* Collaborate with the Business Change Manager, programme and project managers and business stakeholders to determine the scope of business change associated with technology programmes and projects;
* Work with Delivery project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project time line;
* Conduct impact assessment of technology in business functional terms, and assess change readiness of business teams;
* Develop change management plans based on situation awareness of the details of the change and the functional groups being affected by the change;
* Support the development and implementation of strategies and plans for communications, business testing, training, implementation, transition to support and embedding in major IT programmes and projects;
* Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop plans to mitigate or address.

Acquisition & Deployment

* Identify the resources and participants needed to achieve change goals;
* Manage stakeholders, including support and engagement for senior leaders, coaching and mentoring for managers and supervisors;
* Participate in the QA and review of solutions (purchased or developed) to assess impact of Implementation;
* Collaborate with project managers and business analysts in the planning, design, development and deployment of new or enhanced business processes, inputs and outputs.

Operational Management

* Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan;
* Research, implement and evaluate the scope of business change as a consequence of Delivery projects, from start to finish;
* Manage communications internally;
* Plan, create and conduct coaching and training sessions, including management of e-learning for various audiences;
* Establish and develop key stakeholder relationships critical to the success of both business change and technology implementations.

Qualifications:

* 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English, minimum Grade C), educated to degree level standard or able to demonstrate working to degree level
* PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualifications
* Ability to complete UK Government Security Clearance (SC) process successfully
* Full UK driving licence

Experience

* Minimum five years change management experience
* Extensive and broad-based IT and business experience, delivering diverse IT and/or change projects and programmes in a medium/large organisation
* Demonstrable experience building relationships with and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders and evidence of successful delivery to time and budget

Skills/Knowledge

* Takes an active role to ensure the health, safety and well being of themselves and their colleagues
* Takes personal responsibility to keep their business knowledge, IT governance and technical skills up to date
* Promotes role and values of the Group IT function, and understands and communicate IT plans, strategies and benefits
* Demonstrate a strong Customer Service orientation, taking ownership to ensure the effective resolution of questions, requests and issues by the appropriate team
* Maintains a positive, flexible approach to work, engaging positively in change and is driven to ensure required outcomes are delivered
* Ability to exercise initiative, think innovatively, use problem-solving skills and make well-judged recommendations
* Resilient with the ability to adapt to changing situations and reorganise tasks, people and priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence change without direct authority through collaboration, diplomacy and persuasiveness
* Adept at presenting complex information in straight forward terms to a range of audiences
* Ability to quickly understand the business context and establish solid relationships with business stakeholders
* Demonstrates commitment, focus and pace in driving teams to deliver
