Capital Accountant in London

Capital Accountant - London (Hybrid) - 3-month contract - £480 per day (PAYE)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a governance body who are actively seeking a Capital Accountant to join them on a 3-month contract.

The role requires being the lead Financial Accountant for the monitoring and reporting of Capital expenditure.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare the annual capital budget estimates
* Liaise with the Service Areas Budget Holders to model 5 and 20-year capital plans
* Develop, monitor, and reconcile the Assets Manager Register to the GL
* Undertake year-end capital accounting
* To deputise for the Capital Manager as appropriate

Requirements:

* Accounting degree holder or finance-related degree holder
* Excellent knowledge and experience of Capital Accounting
* Excellent Knowledge & experience in Microsoft Office
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, CIMA) or studying towards attaining professional qualification
* Experience In a similar position
