Building Maintenance Operative in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

PermanentWe're recruiting for a Building Maintenance Operative to work for our client in the Cambridge area. This is a permanent role, working for a facilities management company on commercial, education and sports premises in the city. The duties will include interior and exterior property repair (carpentry, plumbing, painting, patch plastering), clearing drains and guttering, unblocking sinks and toilets and making good as required.
The ideal person will have:
- a good all round property maintenance background - carpentry, plumbing, painting and general building knowledge.
- good customer service skills as the work will often be in occupied rooms and buildings.
- strong health and safety knowledge.
- knowledge of legionella testing
- a full driving licence.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established maintenance company who have a strong reputation in the facilities management sector. The hours of work will be 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
