The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting a Biomass Steam Boiler Operator to join Our Alternative Energy solutions client, to be based out of Paisley

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Biomass Steam Boiler Operator to join our rapidly growing Renewable Heat business. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most dynamic and promising sectors in the renewable energy industry.

As a Biomass Steam Boiler Operator, your main responsibilities will include undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam heating systems and associated equipment. You will also be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair works as required.

Some of your duties will include:

• Ensure optimal and continuous operation of mechanical systems by performing routine inspections and maintenance, and monitoring metering equipment.
• Monitoring feed water and emissions quality
• Facilitate the biomass fuel supply to the site, receiving deliveries, testing, and recording results

What do you need to succeed?

• Familiarity with DCS/BMS controls and CMMS systems
• Technical/Engineering educational qualification, with experience in LTHW and steam systems including pumps, valves, hydraulics, controls, and steam-generating plant
• Strong engineering background, with both mechanical and electrical experience
