Asset Engineer

ASSET ENGINEER - YORKSHIRE - 12-MONTH CONTRACT - £427 PER DAY

ARM are currently recruiting for a well-known rail client, who operates and develops Britain's railway infrastructure. They are currently seeking for a professional Asset Engineer in the Drainage discipline.

About You:
* We are looking for someone who HNC/HND qualified or who has an equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrology OR Environmental.
* They must have experience in asset examination and assessment and have the basis knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment techniques.
* You will be required to have basic GIS skills, or the ability to learn basic GIS skills with training.
* You need to be able to use information from desk studies and site teams to update data using a GIS tool.

What you will be doing:
You will be maintaining comprehensive and accurate asset records. You will need to ensure that all compliance of examinations and evaluation of drainage assets are within the requirements of standards. You will be reviewing the data collected an compile desk studies into simple reports.

This role is a remote role after initial training. - Ideally you will be based in the Eastern Region as you will have to attend offices in York or Derby for meetings!

This position can be either full time or part time.

The rate for this role is £427 Per Day (Umbrella) Inside IR35.

This role is a 12 Month Contract, which may extend.
