My client in the utilities industry are looking for an application support engineer to join their IT Control Room team.
The team is currently undergoing a significant transformation of our Control Room set up and is upgrading the application estate.
Common activities include:
o Application packaging and deployment
o Application configuration and support
o Application integration and development
o Build out / enhance existing support models for application and systems
o Write and contribute to support and design documentation
o Contribute to solution designs
o Active participant in Agile Ceremonies
o Regular visits to on site control rooms based in Perth, Scotland
Requirements and experience:
o Strong Technical curiosity backed up by strong technical capability
o This role forms part of a 24 x 7 On Call support rota - Essential
o Strong understanding of ITIL principles
o Understanding working in a heavily regulated environment
o Experience of Energy sector is preferable
o Experience of working in Agile teams
