Deckhand (Ferry) – Contract in London

ContractARM is recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking Deckhands to join their expanding team. Our client owns and operates two Ferries which offer an integral service to those travelling and commuting in London.
The responsibilities of this role include docking and undocking the ship as and when required. Ensuring the deck is kept tidy at all times to ensure work can be completed in a safe manor. You will also be monitoring the ship during the night so a security element is also included within the role.
Other key details regarding this position include:
- Working a 1 week on/off rotation (night shifts).
- Initially a temporary on-going contract however a permanent position may be discussed subject to performance.
- Competitive day rate offered.
- To be considered for the position, you must have the following:
- Efficient Deckhand Certificate.
- Updated STCW training (PST, EFA, FF, PSSR).
- ENG1.
- Reside within commutable distance to East London.
- Experience working in the capacity of Deckhand / Able Seaman.
