IT Engineer in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria

PermanentOur client is seeking for an IT engineer to join their expanding team, the role is based in Barrow.
You are expected to provide a proactive and reactive support service to achieve customer satisfaction as required across the customer environment. In this role, you will work as part of an established team to deliver specific activities, ensuring minimum business impact in accordance with KPIs and SLAs.
Responsibilities
* To undertake scheduled IMAC Tasks to SLA and agreement with the client
* Completing Project and Demand Package Tasks
* Installation of PCs, laptops and tablets
* Moving equipment
* Installation of simple and complex applications and software
* Handover of Hardware, Becrypt and VPN to process (Windows 7 devices)
* Rebuilding devices
Qualifications
* Appropriate IT background and experience
* Appropriate customer facing / user support experience
* Demonstrate a good understanding of a Desktop environment
* Demonstrate that they are well organised
* Experience of Inventory management and software/application install preferred
* Evidence of Problem solving skills
* Proficient with operating systems, including but not limited to:
* Windows 7 - 10
* Basic working knowledge of server infrastructure and networking
* Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
Requirements
* Have, or be able to, obtain SC clearance
* Have a valid UK Driving Licence
