Project Application Engineer (Graduate) in Northampton, Northamptonshire

PermanentAre you a Graduate seeking a new permanent role? We are supporting a permanent position as a Project Application Engineer that is Based in Northampton. As a Project Application Engineer you will be an essential linkage between Research & Development (R&D) and customer interfacing component experts, Sales & Application engineers, and customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead and participate in projects on a local and global level according to key demands
* Ownership of technical design proposals to fulfil customer requirements
* Interpret inhouse analytical simulations of the bearing operating conditions throughout the engine development to ensure the design is fit for purpose and to maintain system robustness
* Maintain and manage product performance characteristics to reinforce technology offerings
* Undertake component analysis including interpretation of metallurgical and metrology results to support product validation and benchmarking
* Create and maintain Design FMEAs for customer projects
* Provide linkage between design, manufacturing engineering and production locations to maintain product and design standards
Requirements
* Degree in Automotive/ Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Lead and participate in projects on a local and global level according to key demands
* Ownership of technical design proposals to fulfil customer requirements
* Interpret inhouse analytical simulations of the bearing operating conditions throughout the engine development to ensure the design is fit for purpose and to maintain system robustness
* Maintain and manage product performance characteristics to reinforce technology offerings
* Undertake component analysis including interpretation of metallurgical and metrology results to support product validation and benchmarking
* Create and maintain Design FMEAs for customer projects
* Provide linkage between design, manufacturing engineering and production locations to maintain product and design standards
* Ability and Confidence to communicated at all levels
