The Opportunity
ARM is recruiting on behalf of a specialist Solar PV Operations & Maintenance provider managing over 200MW of commercial and industrial solar assets across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solar PV Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or O&M Engineer looking to move into a predominantly office-based technical role, supporting the delivery of technical solutions across a diverse portfolio of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review engineer reports, inspections and test results.
- Analyse faults and identify remedial solutions.
- Provide technical advice to clients and internal teams.
- Prepare quotations and scopes of work.
- Specify replacement components and remedial works.
- Support procurement activities and supplier engagement.
- Provide technical guidance to field engineers.
- Assist with technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' Solar PV industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial PV systems.
- Experience fault-finding and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of inverters, monitoring systems, DC systems and electrical testing.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Solar PV O&M experience.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Experience producing technical reports and quotations.
- PV design software experience.
- Knowledge of HV-connected solar installations.
