Estimator / Tendering Engineer - Energy Transition

Manchester | Permanent | Full Time | £50,000 + Company Car

ARM is recruiting for an Estimator / Tendering Engineer to join a leading organisation within the energy transition and power generation sector.

This is an opportunity to support the delivery of low-carbon power generation and battery storage projects, preparing commercially competitive and technically robust tenders across a varied customer base.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals
• Review engineering tender packages and client specifications
• Assess project viability from technical and commercial perspectives
• Conduct site visits to support pricing and proposal development
• Liaise directly with clients throughout the tendering process
• Support sales and project teams with technical input

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years' experience
  OR
• HND/HNC qualification with 3+ years' relevant experience
• Experience within estimating, tendering, or technical sales engineering
• Knowledge of power generation systems, standby generation, batteries, and associated mechanical/electrical systems
• Understanding of energy projects, O&M operations, CDM, and health & safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Full UK driving licence
