Hybrid (2-3 days a week in Peterborough)
Salary £150 per day

ARM is actively seeking an HR Business Partner to join a Public Sector organisation on an initial 9-month contract.

As interim HR Business Partner you will be responsible for providing proactive and solution focused advice to line managers across the authority to improve organisational performance and support the delivery of the organisation's objectives.

Responsibilities

* Provide high quality and professional specialist advice and guidance to line managers.
* In conjunction with the Policy, Reward & Compliance team provide high quality and professional advice and guidance on immigration rules and the sponsoring of migrants.
* In conjunction with line managers, oversee HR cases from end to end to achieve effective outcomes for individuals and the organisation, including grievance, disciplinary, capability and absence management.
* Coach line managers to fulfil their people management responsibilities within both formal and informal processes and provide guidance.

Requirements

* 3- 5 years' experience within a large HR function and preferably within the Public Sector.
* Good knowledge of the main HR processes and IT tools and relevant legislation.
* Generalist HR knowledge with strong change and strategic competencies.
* A highly pro-active mind-set: the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to managers.
* Good communication and conflict management skills, teamwork, and networking abilities.
* CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification is desirable.
