We are looking for a Software Integration Team leader to support the Submarine Command System Manager in managing the Integration of changes from multiple programmes into a single delivery stream. You will be responsible for leading and guiding an enthusiastic Integration team who are eager to learn and develop their skills.

You will also be responsible for -
Tasking the Integration Team members
You will scope, plan, estimate and schedule all activities within the remit of the Integration Team
Tracking the team activities, and provide updates to ETC and timescales to S/W Manager
Lead the production of Software Builds & Installation Images for delivery
Support Target Hardware including installation of new builds & Operating environments and target testing
Lead investigation of System wide issues including raising of observation reports for defects, when appropriate

Key Skills We will look for -
Have experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment
Have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to management and peers and direct reports
Displays flexibility in response to changes in tasking & priorities
Can successfully mentor peers and junior members of the team
Have minimum 5 Years' experience in engineering or a defence or related industry
Be degree qualified or equivalent, in a technology, engineering or science related discipline
Is registered or ability to work towards Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer status
