Senior Highways Engineer in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

SENIOR HIGHWAYS ENGINEER - NEWCASTLE - PERMANENT - £40,000 - £50,000 PER ANNUM

Advanced Resource Managers are currently recruiting for a global company who work on varied transportation and construction projects. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Highways Engineer to join their Newcastle team.

About You:
* You will be a chartered or incorporated Engineer and Member of a Professional Institution.
* You will have experience of working on Highways England or Local Authority highway design projects.
* You will have experience of the current Highways England standards and conversant with the DMRB and Construction Design Management Regulations.
* You will be proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX and Micro Drainage.
* You will have experience of design interfaces.

What you will be doing:
You will be leading a multi-disciplinary team to develop highway and engineering designs from concept through to detailed design and construction, delivering to the highest technical standards and quality targets.

The role is based in Newcastle, with a flexible working style.

The salary for this position is between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and suitability. On top of this the company are offering a benefit package including: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, private medical, company pension scheme, life assurance, + more.
