My defence client is supporting the Royal Navy on the development of engineering design and production of a large project. You will take on the role of a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the engineering aspects of the project within cost, schedule, safety, and quality targets for our surface fleet.

As Senior Engineering Manager you'll also be responsible for -
You will engage with the MoD customer on all engineering related bid activities
You will lead estimation's for project change & rapid response to customer change requests
You'll represent the project in support of all engineering reviews and audits
Manage all project resource demands
Support the estimation, planning & management of the Functional engineering budget

Essential skills they are looking for -
Degree in Engineering/technical subject or HND with sound engineering knowledge gained through significant relevant experience working in the defence
Experience of multi-discipline engineering projects, ideally with a strong software delivery background
Strong practitioner, by experience and knowledge, in engineering aspects of complex systems
Extensive experience in the design, build, integration and support of complex, software-intensive electronic systems and delivery processes to LCM guidelines
