As a result, we currently have exciting opportunities for a Senior Engineer - Powertrain to join the team based in Shalford, Surrey.

Job Overview:

As the Senior Engineer for Powertrain, you will be a key player in the development and advancement of cutting-edge automotive powertrain systems. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing success of our innovative projects and solidify our position as industry leaders in automotive engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of powertrain systems, ensuring compliance with performance, efficiency, and emission standards.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering innovation and excellence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including electronics, software, and vehicle integration, to ensure seamless integration of powertrain components.
• Testing and Validation: Develop and implement testing and validation protocols to ensure the reliability, durability, and performance of powertrain systems.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, leading R&D efforts to continually enhance powertrain capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Engineer with a focus on powertrain systems, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of powertrain design, development, and optimization, with hands-on experience in relevant engineering tools and software.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully leading engineering teams.
• Innovative Thinking: A creative thinker with a passion for pushing the boundaries of engineering possibilities.
