PMO Specialist – Nuclear Defence

The Energy Division at ARM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced PMO Specialist to join our client who are a World Class Engineering organisation, that supports the Nuclear Defence & Space industry.
Location: Derby
Type: Permanent (on-site 5 days per week)
Other info: Multiple roles available across various confidential project areas.
In this role, the PMO Specialist will provide technical leadership, direction, guidance and services with regards to the development and deployment of new/novel and disruptive project management methodologies, systems and ways of working.
What your role will look like:
- You will lead the development and deployment of new project management processes, tools, systems and training.
- You will need to embrace change and bring people with you for the journey.
- Escalate the new, novel and disruptive capabilities, competencies and training needed by the project management community.
- Be a company project management authority and maintaining that status by continuing professional development and networking with like-minded professionals across the business, within the wider industry and within professional bodies.
- Able to coach and develop others to become project management specialists.
- Proactively improve the supporting processes and performance of project management.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience using Agile Project management tools and methodologies.
- Qualified to degree level in Project/Programme Management or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead and train all levels in Project/Programme Management competencies
- Proven people and stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation
- Proven experience of the delivery to cost, specification and time of packages of work or projects.
