We are looking for an experienced Outfitting Engineer to join this well known Defence & Maritime company on a permanent basis. You'll be responsible for carrying out technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the design of improvements. Within this role you 'll get the chance to work on SME long term projects and develop your career within the company.

You'll be responsible for -
Updating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool's (Windchill) with mature parts, systems, occurrences, and compartment data to ensure it correctly presents the baseline design
Preparing technical equipment specifications and developing designs in line with all specifications and standards and co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure delivery to the agreed specification
You'll Produce Procurement Pack documentation
Co-ordinating with systems engineers and detail designers on the integration of Outfit systems
Supporting HAZIDs and Safety Reviews
Supporting Design Reviews and Zonal Reviews

Key Skills we are looking for -
Be Degree qualified likely to be in a Technology, Engineering or Science related discipline
Have good experience in engineering or a defence related industry
Have good Experience in an Outfit Ship Design environment.
Have a strong understanding of Detail Design Requirements as immediate customer in Engineering Lifecycle
Have experience with CAD software like AutoCAD or FORAN is desirable
