We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Build line support team within Manufacturing & will experience diverse challenges and provide solutions & support to a wide range of mechanical and structural assembly and construction. You will be working on a world-class product in build and through into commissioning.

Day to Day -
* This role will allow you to utilise your experience, and provide solutions and support to the Build teams - Supporting business justifications to implement new and replacement technologies/equipment into manufacturing production areas
* Leading and managing a team; planning and coordinating their activities to meet departmental and business requirements
* You will gain exposure in representing our department, networking both Internally and Externally, while chairing technical meetings and reviews (as necessary) that support the Manufacturing Engineering end deliverables
* Providing specialist advice, product or process knowledge, and output requirements. Utilising innovation and creativity to solve problems and implement continuous improvement
* Act as a technical lead for a sub-discipline area within the discipline/project and act as an approved signatory

Key Skills and experience we are looking for -
* Submarine build knowledge/experience is highly desirable, although we would also consider experience in relevant high hazard industries such as; Oil and Gas, Marine, Energy etc.
* Minimum level HNC qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Confident in communicating with stakeholders
