Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor

£30 - £40k DOE

Based out of Camberley

My client who is a leading and expanding Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based out of Camberley is looking to recruit a Junior M&E QS to work alongside the Senior QS.

Main Duties will include supportive roles in the following areas:

Post tender negotiations to take a bid to contract status

Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post contract matters

Preparation of contractual letters to clients and/or sub-contractors

Post contract liaison with design team and clients

Carry out take-offs for material procurement

Sub-contract negotiation and letting

Preparation of interim valuations

Manage and value variations

Agreement and certification of sub-contractors interim valuations and final accounts

Preparation of client final account

Cost value reconciliation and ongoing project reporting

Programme management and evaluation

The ideal candidate will also have a HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and 3-5 years' experience working in a similar role within an M&E Contracting company
